Description

Privacy and Power! Designed specifically for VW Bus/Van/Camper windshields, this sun shade has integrated solar panels for off-grid camping, festivals, or tailgating. When not in use it folds down to 15×12 inches (hardly larger than an LP record album, and under 2-1/12″ thick) so it can store anywhere. There is nothing else like it!

Heavy duty suction clamps allow you to mount it on the inside or outside of your windshield in just minutes. (It will charge faster outside.) When not using it on your windshield, mount it anywhere else you like using the suction clamps, or even use it on a picnic table or grass. Fold it up and take it with you like a tote bag – it only weighs about 7-1/2 pounds, and even has carry handles!

Uses monocrystalline solar panels – much more efficient, lighter weight, and longer lasting than the polycrystalline ones used on other products. (Google it.) Monocrystalline panels can last up to 30 years if well cared for. This is a seriously good product, designed and engineered in the UK by Just Kampers.

Features built in USB-C and USB-A outlets for charging, a 2-meter (about 6 foot) charging cable to charge your vehicle battery via your cigarette lighter, and a 3 meter (about 9 foot) cable with alligator clips to connect to a battery or other device. No need to permanently mount anything, just feed the cable through the front door opening and close the door on it.

120 watt/hour charging (in direct sunlight) is more than enough to run typical low to medium drain items such as interior lights, laptop and phone chargers, etc. for a very, very long time. (High-draw items like fridges will run for less time of course.) Fits and works on all generations of VW Buses and Vans (except old Splitties still using 6 volt electrical systems).
